Dr. Vijay Kumar has been at MIT for 28 years and is involved in integrating information technology and media services into education and developing strategies. As part of his research and advisory services, he has collaborated with the Smithsonian Institution, the National Knowledge Commission of India, UNESCO, Open University of Catalonia, Singapore University of Technology and design, Qatar Foundation International, and the Massachusetts STEM Council's Network Operations Council. He was also awarded the title of honorary professor by the Tianjin Open University.
