A meeting was held at our university with the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the head of the Ecological Party faction of Uzbekistan, Khayrullo Gapporov.

During the meeting, the Speaker addressed pressing environmental issues, efficient water use and biodiversity conservation, waste recycling, increasing public environmental awareness, and active participation in the nationwide “Green Space” project.

Additionally, he answered all questions from professors, teachers, and students.

Notably, proposals and suggestions regarding amendments to laws on ecology and environmental protection were acknowledged. The Speaker emphasized that these proposals would be forwarded to the relevant authorities for further review.
