Representatives of the University of Business and Science are currently in South Korea to strengthen international partnerships.
Today, as part of this initiative, our delegation visited the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), widely recognized as the “MIT of Asia,” together with representatives of Kazakhstan’s leading higher education institutions — Nazarbayev University and Kazakh-British Technical University.
During the visit, bilateral meetings were held with Shin Byungha, Dean of the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, and Kim Kyung-Soo, Vice President of KAIST.
The discussions focused on:
developing academic and scientific cooperation;
internship and exchange programs for students;
launching joint research projects.
KAIST is an internationally recognized research university ranked 53rd in the QS World University Rankings 2025 and is considered one of the top three universities in South Korea.
This visit became one of UBS’s important steps toward expanding international cooperation in higher education, science, and technology.
