The Board of Directors meeting of the Consortium of Asia-Pacific Education Universities (CAPEU) has officially concluded, marking another significant milestone for UBS on the international stage.

The gathering, which brought together delegations from 22 universities across the Asia-Pacific region, opened new avenues for academic cooperation and global engagement for UBS.

Within the framework of the forum, UBS representatives held strategic negotiations with delegations from:

• Mindanao State University – Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (Philippines)

• Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (Brunei Darussalam)

• University of Otago (New Zealand)

• Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (Indonesia)

• Universiti Utara Malaysia (Malaysia)

The discussions focused on the development of student and faculty mobility programs, joint academic initiatives, and the implementation of international grant-funded projects.

At the closing ceremony of the Board meeting, the CAPEU leadership presented the International Partnership Order, a distinction awarded to the consortium’s most valued and influential partners, to the UBS delegation.

This recognition serves as a testament to UBS’s steadily growing reputation and strengthening position within the global higher education community.
