A delegation from UBS, led by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Dr. Dilshod Kholmatov, paid an official visit to Baku State University.

For reference: Baku State University, founded in 1919, is one of the oldest and most prestigious higher education institutions in Azerbaijan. According to the 2025 QS World University Rankings, the university is ranked 688th globally.

During the visit, the parties reached an agreement to develop cooperation in the following areas:

— Academic mobility programs for students;
— Internships and professional development programs for faculty members and researchers;
— Regular organization of scientific and practical conferences;
— Implementation of joint educational programs;
— Joint participation in international rankings.

This meeting marks only the beginning. The UBS team looks forward to expanding cooperation, strengthening academic exchange, and launching result-oriented initiatives in the near future.
