What is the SMART formula?

1.     S - Specific:
The goal should be as clear and understandable as possible. Define what exactly needs to be done and what outcome you want to achieve.

2.     M - Measurable:
There should be clear criteria to determine whether you have achieved the goal. How will you measure success?

3.     A - Achievable:
The goal should be realistic and attainable. A realistically achievable goal increases motivation.

4.     R - Relevant:
The goal should align with your overall plan and be beneficial to you. It should be meaningful and important.

5.     T - Time-based:
Every goal should have a clear deadline. When do you want to achieve it?

Example of a SMART goal:
“Within the next three months, exercise three times a week to improve overall health.”
