President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on ensuring the employment of graduates of higher education institutions in our country.

According to the presentation, career centres will become fully operational at all universities and will be encouraged based on their performance.

The activities of the centres will be evaluated through the “Graduate Quality Index”, and 500 million UZS will be allocated to each of the career centres of the 20 universities demonstrating the highest results.

In line with these initiatives, the Career Centre operating under University of Business and Science assists students in connecting with employers, learning about available vacancies and internship programmes, receiving professional guidance, and securing employment after graduation.

Particular attention is also paid to supporting students’ initiatives, innovative ideas and startup projects, developing their entrepreneurial skills, and further strengthening the integral link between education, practical experience and employment.
