As you know, recently our university was visited by the Executive Director of the Korea Center for Rare Metals and Advanced Materials (KORAM), Professor Kim Bum Sung. During this meeting, collaboration on several projects was discussed.
To consistently continue these matters, the "University of Business and Science" delegation visited Incheon, Korea, where they met with KORAM's senior staff.
At the official meeting, discussions were held about conducting short-term internships for engineering students between UBS and KORAM.
Specifically, the organization of internships for 30-40 students at KORAM based on scientific grants for one academic year and the enhancement of faculty qualifications were discussed.
Additionally, our delegation familiarized themselves with KORAM’s laboratory facilities and semi-industrial testing equipment. Senior staff provided information on the technical specifications and operation processes of high-precision equipment.
Ultimately, it was agreed that the memorandum of understanding between the two organizations would be officially signed in February 2025.
