On September 23, an official meeting was held with the participation of the leadership of University of Business and Science, representatives of Riga Technical University, and the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, several areas of cooperation were discussed, including:
Establishing and developing joint research and development (R&D) centers;
Launching student exchange programs;
Implementing joint projects within the framework of the Erasmus+ program;
Developing joint educational programs;
Strengthening collaboration in the field of scientific research.

Riga Technical University (RTU) was founded in 1862 and is one of the largest and oldest technical universities in the Baltic region. The university is widely recognized as a leading higher education institution in engineering, architecture, business, and natural sciences. Today, more than 30,000 students study at RTU.

As a result of the meeting, new opportunities are expected to open for UBS students to study and collaborate academically with European universities.
