The President’s initiatives to create the “Education – Science – Industry” chain and to establish partnerships with the world’s top 50 universities are entering a new phase.

Specifically, the leadership of the University of Business and Science (UBS) and a delegation from the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Combine (TMK) jointly visited the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA.
During the visit, discussions were held with MIT Vice President, world-renowned scientist Professor Dimitris Bertsimas. An agreement was reached that, starting next year, MIT will provide professional development programs for UBS faculty and organize Bootcamp (intensive) programs for our students.
Within this collaboration, our students will have the opportunity to receive support in developing startup projects and to undertake practical training at MIT’s research center.

It is worth noting that this partnership is extremely beneficial for our university, creating a strong bridge to implement US programs and giving our faculty the opportunity to experience the environment of one of the world’s most prestigious universities.
