On November 13, UBS hosted an official meeting with representatives of prestigious higher education institutions from South Korea — Hanyang University and Sookmyung Women’s University. During the visit, the parties discussed new areas of academic and cultural cooperation.

The negotiations focused on the following key areas:
— Study and academic exchange programs for faculty members and students;
— Grant and scholarship opportunities;
— Joint educational programs in 2+2 and 3+1 formats;
— Establishment of a Korean Culture and Language Center at UBS.

In addition, representatives of South Korean universities are planning to conduct a special presentation session for UBS students, providing detailed information about international education opportunities.

For reference:
Hanyang University is one of the highly ranked universities globally:
— Ranked 159th in the QS World University Rankings 2026;
— Placed within the 251–300 range in Times Higher Education 2025;
— Ranked among the TOP 6 universities in South Korea out of 400 institutions, according to the CWUR 2024 ranking.

The university is particularly renowned for its excellence in engineering, business, and science and technology.
