UBS and Korea: Important Steps in International Cooperation

On January 24 of this year, an official meeting took place between representatives of the University of Business and Science (UBS) and officials of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea.

The meeting focused on developing international educational cooperation, student exchange programs, and the implementation of promising joint initiatives.

During the discussions, participants exchanged views on UBS’s international relations, academic partnerships, and new opportunities in education, including:

— 2+2 and 3+1 joint education programs with leading Korean universities;
— student exchange programs;
— short-term internships for students;
— continuation of studies at partner universities.

Additionally, several key proposals were put forward during discussions with the representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea, including:

— implementing joint medical programs with Kyungdong University;
— collaborating with Korea Elevator University to train elevator engineers;
— organizing short-term internships for students at industrial enterprises.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain continuous cooperation and work on strengthening Uzbekistan’s international educational integration.

Moreover, establishing regular communication with embassy representatives and keeping them informed about ongoing activities was set as a key priority.

This meeting marked a significant step for UBS in developing international educational partnerships, creating new opportunities for students, and aligning Uzbekistan’s education system with global standards.

The close collaboration between the university and the embassy will enable the implementation of even larger projects in the future.
